The slides are on Ilford film, and I'm sorry to say that if you used Ilford colour slide film in the late 1950s, please take copies of them now before they deteriorate any further... The rather dull images that have been rescued with Photoshop show a rundown railway eking out it's last days before closure; I'm not sure how much of the tone of the images is from Irish March weather and how much has been lost from the dyes in the film, but they are fascinatingly evocative of the end of Irish narrow gauge.
