Llanberis Lake Railway - August 2003

The extension has meant a change in operating patterns.  Trains run non-stop from Llanberis to the other end of the line at Penllyn, using the non-platform line through the loop at Gilfach Ddu.  The return journey stops at all stations, with an extended halt at Gilfach Ddu which retains it's role as the centre of operations.  Unfortunately the trains were running (apparently on-time) to a timetable which matched neither that shown on the line's web site or that displayed on the platform at Cei Llydan!  Perhaps someone needs to check all the line's posters...
