Ffestiniog Interactive II Gala, May 2003

Monday morning meant Gravity Train.  As if on cue, the heavens opened just as Stanhope & Linda set off from the freight line at Minffordd with the rake of slate wagons, soaking the digital camera which squeaked and died!  The backup was traditional slide file, so the photos of Stanhope & Linda were a little delayed but are now on the page with everything else.

We moved up to Penrhyn to watch the gravity train, with a little TLC and a towel restoring the Olympus to working order.  A few drops of rain heralded the approach of the train which glided over the crossing and down the hill.  Who knows what delights the gravity train will bring in years to come, the FR announced over the weekend the purchase of an additional 70 slate wagons (FR/LNWR/GWR varieties) from Llechwedd Quarry.

James wanted a ride in a bug box, so we shot off to Harbour Station in time to join Taliesin's vintage train.
