Steam Railway Magazine Readers Weekend, September 2003

Boston Lodge had one of its rare sessions of being open to the public without all the razamatazz of a Gala weekend.  The work being done here grows and grows, one new locomotive (Lyd) under construction, one being restored after being out of use since before WWII (K1), three under overhaul (Palmerston, Merddin Emrys and Britomart) and no less than six new carriages visible being built and one under repair.
