Talyllyn Railway - 1981

The summer of 1981, England beat the Australian's and won the Ashes, and I spent a week pointing my camera at the Talyllyn while on holiday near Tywyn. I have photographs of both events, the cricket has no place here (I have pictures to prove I saw the last day miracle at Headingley) but in it's place I present a selection of phoographs taken along the line during the high summer of 1981. All five steam locomotives were at work and can be seen here at various locations.
