Talyllyn Railway 50th Anniversary Year - 2001

2001 was the Golden Jubilee of the Railway Preservation, celebrating 50 years since the first trains run by the TRPS under the guidance of Tom Rolt.  The Talyllyn Railway held a variety of events throughout the year, culminating in a week of celebrations during July.  The last act of the jubilee week was the running of the final train of the week on Sunday 29th July behind all 5 of the active steam locomotive fleet.
