Following the end of Saturday's trains, 'Lilla' was due to make a run to Waunfawr and back. I placed myself at one of my favourite spots, on the curves between Tryfan Junction and Tanyrallt and waited for 'Lilla' to appear. Despite waiting for well over an hour, nothing waddled round the corner, and the lure of food and drink at the Snowdonia Parc proved too much. I left the scene and headed for Waunfawr, missing 'Lilla' eventually making her much-delayed run to Tryfan Junction (albeit in the evening gloom).
