Hunslet Hundred Gala, May 1993

In my view, the highlight of the weekend was the presence of 'Charles' at Boston Lodge, polished until the sun reflected painfully off the brass and paintwork.  I didn't have chance to photograph the three Penthyn main line engines together (today wild horses wouldn't drag me from such an opportunity) but the whole weekend passed in a continual stream of Hunslet locomotives together with the usual residents.
