Talyllyn Railway 50th Anniversary Year - 2001

Missing from the line for 2001 was 'Peter Sam' (better to known to some of us as No 4 Edward Thomas) awaiting the provision of a new boiler, it's second new boiler in preservation.  Happily for the younger visitors to the line, the Thin Controller on the Skarloey Railway has kindly made 'Duncan' available for loan.  Try as I might I could not find Andrew Barclay No 6 'Douglas' anywhere on the line, perhaps it has gone to the Isle of Sodor in exchange...?
