Pushing The Boat Out - The Vintage Gala To End All Vintage Galas?

I decided to see the first train of the day at Tylers Curve and tried to find an alternative viewpoint to the normal one from above. After a spot of mountaineering I got to somwhere near the spot, admired the view and disappeared rapidly down the slope which objected to holding my weight. I can confirm the effectiveness of brambles as an emergency restraint, for some reason they don't slip through the hand easily... After all that trouble I was too close to the lineside, the better view is from halfway up the sheer slope further back, must try that one next time!

The comparative safety of Boston Lodge was next and the first glimpse of Merddin Emrys repainted in it's original 1879 livery.
