Pushing The Boat Out - The Vintage Gala To End All Vintage Galas?

Early risers at Harbour were greeted with Welsh Pony arriving in the platform road as the sun rose.  There then followed a fascinating hour of shunting to clear space for the locomotive line-ups and careful placement of each arrival in the perfect position for photographs.  Unlike the May 2005 FR50 Saturday evening display the organisers had arranged for the sun to be in the best position and an appropriately minimal amount of cloud; it must be all the years of Vintage Gala practice!  Out of the mist loomed a pair of Double Fairlies in steam, the stage was set...
