Pushing The Boat Out - The Vintage Gala To End All Vintage Galas?

No sooner had we all recovered from the sight of Merddin Emrys in all his glory than a strange apparition appeared from over the Cob. Spooner's boat arrived at Harbour with Iain Wilkinson at the brakes and Samantha Hughes resplendent with parasol seated in the rear.  A wonderful piece of Ffestiniog Ffoolishness, I'm sure Michael Seytmour would have approved.

And now a moan about the FR loco crews.  It was obvious to me that I wanted to board Taliesin's down train at Tanygrisiau, just because I was so engrossed in taking a photo (which was rubbish) and forgot to wave my arm like a dervish is no reason to go steaming past without stopping...  ;-)

Did you know that it is possible to walk from Tanygrisiau to Dduallt in the time it takes a down train to get to Tan-y-bwlch and the next up train to arrive at Dduallt?  It is and I did!
