Pushing The Boat Out - The Vintage Gala To End All Vintage Galas?

I ended the weekend as I started it, sliding uncontrollably down a slope in the woods!  After a pleasant time at Whistling Curve I was wandering back towards Tan-y-Bwlch when I noticed an elevated view of Three Gates Crossing that I must have walked past many times but never noticed.  I decided the angle wasn't quite right, so after peering over the edge of the slope below the path I decided to descend about ten feet.  It turns out that the slopes in the woods are hidden under a covering of thick moss and rotten branches, this time there were no handy brambles to grab hold of!

The team that have organised the autumn Vintage Weekend for the last few years have decided to take well-earned break after outdoing themselves year ater year.  Perhaps they can be persuaded to return in a few years, could we tempt them with a 1920s weekend including Russell and 590 on the WHR link...?
