Ffestiniog Vintage Weekend October 2002

'A Matter Of Utmost Gravity'

The 2002 Vintage Weekend was designed to show off the results of recent heritage projects, in particular the restoration of the first pair of bogie carriages (15 & 16) and the restoration of the slate wagon fleet, both partially funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.  Despite a downpour on late on Friday, Saturday morning was bright and sunny, showing off the line to best effect.
