Ffestiniog Vintage Weekend October 2002

Penrhyn had a regular stream of trains all morning. Here are David Lloyd George with a down passenger train, Taliesin heading for Tanybwlch with a vintage train, the gravity train and then David Lloyd George returning up the line with a mixed train which includes Palmerston's slate wagons from Minffordd. The final pictures show the first appearance of the 1920s Vintage Train, which unfortunately failed to reach Tanybwlch, Palmerston having to be rescued by the Ladies on a down train!
